Higher Level
The green pigment held in chloroplasts that absorbs light energy, mainly from the red and blue regions of the spectrum. It reflects green light, which is why most leaves look green.
Ordinary Level
The green colour found in plant leaves. It takes in light energy for photosynthesis.
